Adjustment of Entire Musculo-Skeletal Structure & Extremities

A chiropractic adjustment is
the science and art of introducing a specific force in a precise direction
applied to a vertebra or mal aligned joint in your body.
'Adjustment' usually refers to correctly aligning the vertebra, however
chiropractic alignment techniques are routinely applied to joints, muscles,
tendons, as well as most nerve pathways in the human body.
It is usually characterized by
a dynamic thrust of controlled amplitude in a specific direction to the
targeted location. The adjustment releases the vital electrical and
nourishment flow to and from the brain, vertebra and effected region which
may include extremities, organs and other nerve/muscle controlled organs.
There are numerous ways to
adjust. Each of the various techniques require a specific force and line
of drive. The adjustment is delivered either by the doctor's hands or a
specially designed instrument. Some of the adjusting techniques are quick,
while others require a slow constant pressure.

Biosonic Re-patterning
(Sound)
A natural method of healing using
tuning forks based on the sonic ratios inherent in nature.
When we tap
the tuning forks, we produce pure tone intervals based on precise
mathematical proportions known as the Pythagorean tunings. When we absorb
these precise tone intervals we create an archetypal resonance resulting in
a physical and psychological re-patterning of our mind, bodies and spirit. This takes place on a physical
level within the inner ear by stimulation of the cochlea and semi-circular
canals.
When we listen to the sound of
the tuning forks our nervous system attunes to the pitch in much the same
way as when we find a pitch for a choir, or tune a piano.
The vestibular system via the
semi-circular canals reproportions our body through a process of cellular
memory based on the natural ratios of the tuning forks. During the listening
process our physical body will actually reposture itself to hold the
proportion and sound correctly.

Chromatherapy (Color)
Also referred to as Color
Therapy, Light Therapy, and Colorology, this is the use of colors to affect
a persons health by exposure to colored rooms, lights, crystals, fabrics,
eye shades, etc. Color therapy has been utilized for centuries in the East but it was not until the late 1800's
that the West took a large interest in the effect of colors on humans.
Fundamentally, it is based on the
theory that all light is comprised of a combination of frequencies and each
color has a specific frequency of its own. Each frequency has an
effect on each person.
During the 1970's-1980's
scientific tests have shown a connection between health and colors, in fact,
color consultants and psychologists use colors to gain positive
results with patients who are or feel ill. This concept is similar to sound therapy,
another form of frequency therapy.

Cold Laser Therapy (LLLT)
"Cold Laser Therapy" is one of Dr.
Kling's most powerful tools.
(Play the video, 2 min)
Studies have proven that lasers have the power to heal in ways never
before suspected. Cold Laser Therapy has been shown to repair tissue, reduce
inflammation and relieve chronic pain especially when used with other
chiropractic modalities.
In January of 2002, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved this
Cold Laser for “Adjunctive Use in Pain Therapy”. This approval was
obtained only after the required scientifically intensive ‘double blind’
testing.
Here are a few conditions in which laser therapy has proven
to be effective:
Injuries/Trauma
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Back and shoulder problems
Fibromyalgia
Tendonitis
Osteoarthritis
TMJ
There are nearly 2000 investigations from over eighty countries that have
been published in various medical journals, studying the effects of Laser
Therapy on humans and animals.
Is Cold Laser effective by itself?
Yes, it is. However, combining other therapies for a particular problem can
greatly improve many conditions. Discuss these alternatives and combinations with Doctor
Kling.
How does it work?
The simple answer is “photonic absorption”. Laser light energy, at the correct frequency
and pulsing rate, converts into chemical energy that initiates a cascade of
events at a cellular level.
Cold Laser promotes healing in many conditions because it penetrates
the skin, increases the ATP and activates enzymes in the targeted cells.
Growth factor responds within the cells and tissue as a result of
increased ATP and protein synthesis.
Improved cell proliferation.
Pain relief as a result of increased endorphin release.
Strengthening the immune system response via increasing levels of
lymphocyte activity.
Advantages of Laser Therapy:
- Non -Toxic
- Non-Invasive
- Ease of application
- No side effects
- Safe – cannot over administer
- Cost effective
Superior alternative to:
- Analgesics
- NSAID’s (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.)
- Minimizes the need for muscle relaxants or other
invasive medications
- Obviates the need for surgery
“COLD LASER” is
also known as "LLLT" or “LOW LEVEL LASER
THERAPY”

Detoxification Therapy
Detoxification therapy combines a variety of techniques that are designed to
assist the body in removing the buildup of potentially harmful chemicals and
toxins. Detoxification is a remedy that is practiced by many
chiropractors, osteopaths, nutritionists, and holistically trained Medical
Doctors.
The
purpose of the therapy is to improve the body's overall well-being through
internal cleansing and purification. Diet and lifestyle changes--such as
giving up caffeine and fast food, eliminating sugar, processed foods, and
<of course> quitting smoking--are considered key to the treatment. In
addition, other techniques, such as hydrotherapy, colon therapy, chelation
(key-lay-shun)
therapy, or even a supervised fast, are often suggested as part of
detoxification.
Practitioners who use detoxification therapy believe that each person has a
unique but ultimately limited level of tolerance for the "toxins" that are
the by-products of industrialized society--whether it's smog, pesticides,
heavy metals, or the additives and preservatives found in many processed
foods. When that tolerance level is exceeded, the body's natural waste
removal process--centered in the skin, liver, kidneys, and large
intestine--becomes overtaxed and incapable of functioning adequately. Signs
that the body's natural detox system may be overloaded, proponents of the
therapy suggest, include fatigue, headaches, poor digestion, unhealthy
looking skin, joint and muscle aches, depression, and increased
susceptibility to allergies and minor infections.
The
concept of dextoxification is not a new idea. For centuries, different
cultures have promoted dietary restrictions for therapeutic and religious
purposes. Detoxifying spa treatments under medical supervision have long
been offered in Europe. Even so, most conventional doctors in the United
States are not familiar with detoxification, and many of those
remain skeptical about its use, in part because of the lack of supporting
scientific data.
Nevertheless, advocates contend that when the various detoxification
therapies are used properly the benefits can include a strengthened immune
system, enhanced mental clarity, increased vitality, and reduced blood fats
and blood pressure levels. In addition, patients with a variety of chronic
illnesses including arthritis, digestive problems, and heart and lung
disease, often report feeling significantly better after completing
detoxification.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
Electrical Muscle Stimulation is
administered with an electrical device specially designed for the purpose.
The EMS unit has variable voltage, period and slope adjustments that are set
by the Doctor for the specific problem.
It works by sending small electrical
impulses through the skin at various settings. These impulses stimulate
underlying nerves, tissue and muscles for the purpose of reducing
pain, edema and inflammation and expediting the recovery processes. EMS
reduces or eliminates the need for most pain-related drugs.
EMS Therapy is used in the treatment
of circulatory disorders, range of motion, edema and muscle spasms. The
stimulation administered by the electrical currents drastically improve
circulation in the targeted area increasing recovery time from most muscle
or surgical traumas. Multiple treatments typically speed the patient's
recovery and allow earlier resumption of their normal lifestyle.
Is EMS
safe?
YES. Although the thought of electrical impulses being sent into the body
may seem frightening at first, all you really feel is a slight tingling or
vibrating sensation. The Doctor will adjust the levels to your
personal tolerance. Unlike many drugs, EMS devices have no known side
effects.
Who cannot use EMS Therapy?
Individuals with a pacemaker or patients who are pregnant should NOT use
EMS <or any electrical> devices. Always inform your doctor before using
EMS if you have a pacemaker are pregnant or if you suspect you may be
pregnant.
What to expect
Dr Kling will place two to four adhesive strips on
your skin, one on each side of the targeted area and will connect these to
the EMS device which provides the pain-relieving and edema-reducing
stimulation.

Homeopathy
Homoeopathy is an
alternative method of treatment, based on the nature's Law of Cure, namely 'Like
Cures Like'. The truth of this law was discovered by a German scientist
Dr.Samuel Hahnemann in 1796, and has been verified experimentally and
clinically for 200 years. Homoeopathy is the revolutionary, natural medical
science. Homoeopathy is a gentle and effective system of medicine. The
remedies are prepared from natural substances to precise standards and work
by stimulating the body's own healing power.
The concept of disease in
homoeopathy is that disease is a total affection of mind and body, the
disturbance of the whole organism. Individual organs are not the cause of
illness but disturbance at the inner level (disturbance of the life force,
the vital energy of the body ) is the cause of illness. Therefore
homoeopathy does not believe in giving different medicines for different
afflicted parts of body but rather give one single constitutional remedy
which will cover the disturbance of the whole person. Homoeopathy treats the
patient as a whole and not just the disease.
Medical philosophy is coming more
and more to the conclusion that the mere treatment of symptoms and organs
can only help temporarily and that it is the healing power of the body as a
whole that has to be enhanced. Homoeopathy believes in a holistic,
totalistic and individualistic approach.

Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic massage is a light touch technique used since
the 1930s to promote health and aid recovery from certain illnesses. Also
called lymphatic drainage or manual lymph drainage, lymphatic massage is now
widely used in European hospitals and clinics. It is becoming better known
in the U.S. due to its benefits for breast cancer survivors. Also used to
promote wellness, this gentle technique can prevent or reduce fluid
retention, enhance the removal of toxins from body tissues, and support the
immune system.
Because many of the lymph vessels are just under the skin,
moving the lymph requires a very light touch, barely the weight of a
teaspoon of water. Practitioners use flat hands and fingerpads in painless,
rhythmic movements light enough to be described as 'feather touch.' ... Most
people experience lymphatic massage as deeply relaxing and some fall asleep.

Scar Tissue/Adhesion Release
Scar tissues and adhesions can be
extremely painful. EMS, Ultrasound, deep massage, gels and percusser
treatments are very effective in breaking loose the stubborn muscle and scar
tissue fibers.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a form of deep
heating in which sound waves are applied to the skin and penetrate into the
soft tissues. Ultrasound is especially useful in relieving acute episodes of
pain and may enhance tissue healing. You will experience deep heating
sensation into the effected muscle area. Ultrasound may be
administered several times as needed for the intended results.
Ultrasound, as well as EMS can be
combined with other therapies for an effective recovery program.
